Introduction	Greetings, I'm Herenya Wilkey. I am mainly a Steampunk artist, though I do try my hand at many other styles. I make Steampunk art because I have always loved Victorian fashion and machinery intrigues and fascinates me. Each piece I make provides a new quandary for me because I never make two that are completely alike. I have to really think about what I put where and if a gear or a switch makes sense in that area. It is very exciting and satisfying when I finally feel that I have accomplished something that looks like it could plausibly have working machinery inside. Even though I mainly make Steampunk fashion accessories, I feel that it is very important that I try and make it look like my pieces do things and have inner workings. It really bothers me when I see something with gears randomly glued on it and people peddling it as Steampunk. Steampunk is about high Victorian fashion and new technology!
