Interests	Gary Deane has been a syndicated music journalist, music and film reviewer for the CBC/ Radio-Canada, university film teacher, and repertory cinema programmer. On the 100th Anniversary of Recorded Music, he was named by Billboard magazine as among the 100 Best Music Journalists in the World. Currently, it's about the film noir project -- researching, writing, programming, presenting, and festival-going. He served as the San Francisco-based Film Noir Foundation's unofficial video archivist and was a regular contributor to its quarterly online magazine, NOIR CITY.
