| Introduction | I was born and raised in Spearman, Texas and graduated from Spearman H.S. in 1997. I attend Frank Phillips College and graduated with an Associates Degree in 2002. From there, I attended Texas Tech University and graduated in 2004 with a B.S. in Human Development and Family Studies, a minor in Psychology, and an interdisciplinary minor in Substance Abuse Studies. I also graduated from Texas Tech University Graduate school in 2007 with a Masters Degree in Elementary Education. I have taught in the Ada School System for 3 1/2 years. I taught 3rd grade at Washington Grade Center from 2006-2009 and now I am currently teaching 5th grade reading, language arts, and science at Willard. I am married to Tommy Winters, a McLlish H.S. graduate, and we have two daughters, Kriston Renee' (age 12, 6th grade) and Kambree Janae (age 1). We also have two blue heelers (Bubba and Sissy), one red heeler (Sassy), and one fish (Okie). I love spending time with my family/pets, teaching, reading, fishing, and going to the lake. |
| Interests | Teaching is my passion! I love reading and writing and want each of my students to have a passion for both. I come from a long line of teachers and coaches; and teaching is exactly what God created me to do! I strive for excellence and success in my classroom and enjoy teaching all of my students! :) Thank you for allowing me to teach your child |
