Introduction | Growing up I have wanted to do two things. Be paid to read, and be a librarian. I devour words. Words on the page, on the screen, or spoken. I need somewhere to talk about what I've read, and I have decided that this is the place. As I work in both youth and adult services, my reviews will run the gambit from youth to adult, fiction to nonfiction. There will be something for everyone! |
Interests | Reading Nesting (ie, fantasizing about decorating my dream house) Spending time outside |
Favorite Books | Formative picture book from childhood - Miss Rumphius by Barbara Cooney. Favorite picture book for story time - Bear Snores On by Karma Wilson. Formative middle grade novel from childhood- A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L'Engle. Current favorite middle grade novel - Breadcrumbs by Anne Ursu. Current favorite YA authors are Maggie Stiefvater, and Leigh Bardugo. Favorite adult nonfiction: Being Mortal by Atul Gawande. |
