Introduction | Arianna Usai was born in Northen Italy in 1987. As soon as possible she leaves the small town to study at the Art Insitute of Trento. She attended the fourth year of school in Denmark where she learns the local language and tighten relationships with people from all over the world. After graduating from high school in 2006, she moved to Rome to attend the European Institute of Design, where she graduated in Illustration and Multimedia Animation in 2009. During the month of June 2011 she attended the Summer Residency Program in Illustration and Visual Storytelling at the School of Visual Art of New York. She published her first children’s book "Tra le nuvole" with the Italian publishing house Edizioni Lalbero in September 2011. In August 2012 she illustrated the children's book "Ugolino, il gigante piccino" written by Leonardo Salerno and published by Società Editrice Fiorentina. In 2013 she has illustrated the books "Re Girasole e Bla Bla", written by Chiara Sarno and published by Società Editrice Fiorentina and "Alberi SottoSopra", written by Gabriella Ferrari and published by Fabbrica dei Segni Editore. |
