| Introduction | This Blog was originally about my commutes into work, but with the onset of the pandemic, social unrest and sudden interest in how systemic racism has been gnawing away at our country's Black community and other communities of color, my focus has changed. There has been a hiatus in my commutes but an uptick in time to think about current events. I usually think about them in the wee hours of the morning, about how divided we are. Sometimes I'm so passionate about what I want to say, my emotions feel like water being poured through a tiny funnel that overflows. It's much easier for me to be poignant in written word. |
