Introduction	I'm female and last year life has begun for me. I turned the ripe age of 40. I love learning new things and in December last year I discovered the wonderful world of photography. I bought my first DSLR, my humble D3000. Now I see things in a whole new light. I've become more focused, like a horse with blinders. I'm meeting a lot of new and interesting people. Photography is helping me conquer my fear of flying because as I feel the compunction to take more photos, I realize I need to travel beyond the confines of my city state. I have fallen in love with photography and there's no turning back. I decided to blog in the hope that there are kindred souls out there with whom my thoughts resonate.
