| Introduction | I’m David, a high school student in Indiana. Mine is a really good school, so I have a lot of high expectations for my time there. I'm very involved in Spell Bowl, Debate, Science Olympiad, Academic Super Bowl, and coaching Junior ASB at the middle school. I earned a traditional Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do before leaving my class to follow other pursuits. I am a Boy Scout, and I’m the Senior Patrol Leader in my troop. I’m also an Eagle Scout, and enjoy competitive backpacking. I’ve been to Isle Royale on Lake Superior twice, and took part in a 2008 Philmont Trek in New Mexico. I enjoy traveling. So far, I've visited eleven European countries, and have also been to many in the Caribbean and South America. My family and I live out in the country on seventy-seven acres. My parents are entrepreneurs, and I plan on a similarly ambitious life. I pursue careers in international banking and U.S. politics. I'm lucky enough to have an amazing group of friends who are kind, smart, and supportive. I couldn't ask for anything more. Needless to say, I love hanging out with them. I have one pet, Queen Hazel Marie. She is my calico cat, and one of my closest friends. |

If your whole body were a hot air balloon, would you stop eating spicy food?
Umm... no. I love spicy foods. I don't understand why being a hot air balloon would make a difference anyway. Ha, ha... maybe this just isn't a very good question for me. =)
