Introduction As a working mum of a toddler, whose husband often works late hours for work, I have very little time to prepare healthy and tasty meals for my family. One day I made a pact to cook a fresh and healthy meal every night for 1 week, posting photos of my meals on facebook. I got so many requests for my recipes, that i decided to create a blog to share my experience with parents or even single people who, like me, occasionally run out of insipiration or motivation to cook. This blog is to share some quick and simple recipes but also to keep me motivated to continue- perhaps not every day of the week but at least most of them! I want to stress I am not a chef, nor am I a foodie, I just cook things that taste good and are not overly high in fat or sugar but that are balanced and nutritional. Sometimes I will use jars or packets, sometimes I will use recipes I have gotten from Jamie Oliver or someone else- but the point of this blog is to give others ideas and also insight on what works for busy people (it's all well and good for Jamie Oliver to say you can do that in 30 minutes- but can you really?). I hope you enjoy and I look forward to getting more inspiration from my followers!
