| Introduction | I'm a boring guy. I'm one of the quietest people you will ever meet, unless you want to talk about motorbikes. I can literally talk about motorbike tires for hours, just ask my poor wife.
As much as I make fun of football fans who know every useless bit of trivia about some guy who pushes other guys over in the grass for three seconds and then stands around for 20 minutes while the stupid game clock doesn't even run, I know more about my favorite motorbike racers than I really need to know. "Motorcycle racing makes a heroin addiction look like a vague wish for something salty." When I first read that quote by Peter Egan I thought he was just being silly. That was before I started riding on the track. It's all been downhill since then. I may only get to go to a couple of trackdays a year, but I thoroughly enjoy every minute of each one of them, even the rainy ones. |
