About me

Introduction	Hi, it's me, Stefanie Riemath. I was born in 'Steiff-Village' in the South of Germany; I worked in the Kibbutz Hatzor-Ashdod in Israel, went to London to pass the Certificate of Proficiency in English, returned to Germany to do my B.A. in English at the University of Tübingen, moved to Hamburg to continue in American Studies & Second Language Acquisition and finally finished my studies with my M.A. thesis on Zora Neale Hurston. I moved to the Netherlands in 2007 and decided to share my knowledge and experience in literature. As a result I started 'The English Book Club' in 2009 and expanded in 2011 with the 'Short Story Reading Club'. Why this blog? A lot of female authors aren't widely known and I therefore decided to present each month a female writer and hope to inspire others to read on. Enjoy!
