| Introduction | I’m Emerald. I love food, baking, photography and…. everything! I started baking since I was 12 years old, and I remember holding a the sacred recipe of “Basic Cookie-dough”, by Donna Hay. It was plain and simple, but hey… I loved it. Ever since I was 12, I’ve been using a “5-speed handmixer” to make my baked goods. Although, it’s not much, I’ve made heaps and heaps with this little beauty. I love reading other food blogs. They’re beautiful and so inspiring. I admire all of the other food blogs – the photography, food and their writing.I, not only, take photos of food. I enjoy taking pictures of antique buildings, shops, flowers, scenery and people. I use a Nikon D70s and usually a AF-S Nikkor 18-70mm f/3.5-4.5G lens. I also have a Nikon AF 50mmf/1.8, and Velbon tripod. This year, 2011, I’m eighteen. First year of university studying Nursing and Public Health Promotion. Can’t wait! But possibly in the future, I’ll open my own little patisserie, doing what I love in the kitchen. |
