| Introduction | I am a cheerful person that tends to see the good in situations and people. I have worked with children for approximately 20-some years. I am also a mother of two teenagers, Carl: age 17 and Amber: soon to be 16. I could not live without my guitar. It is the truest expression of my soul. |
| Interests | I love to learn. I love reading, both fiction and non-fiction. I enjoy movies...mostly because I love a good story. I seek out comedy, drama, musical, and any movie that is about people and relationships I tend to enjoy. I studied Pscyhology and Music on the Bachelor's level. Music, Educational Leadership and Early Childhood on the Master's level. I play guitar, sing and write songs...both children's music and serious/spiritual. I have written a musical, which I hope to see produced one day. It's called Dancer Out of Time. It is a lovely story, with broadway-style music. It is my master piece. |
| Favorite movies | Spirit (by Dreamworks, animation about the Stallion) A Knight's Tale with Heath Ledger. Princess Bride. Joseph King of Dreams, animation also by Dreamworks, featuring the voice of Ben Affleck as Joseph. These movies I could never grow weary of. They are beautiful. I also love the sound tracks that go with them! |
| Favorite music | Folk, like John Denver, and Country like Dolly Parton, Reba, Deanna Carter, Pop like Celine Dion, Juice Newton, Olivia Newton John, Classic Rock like The Cars, Bon Jovi, Bryan Adams, to name a few. |
| Favorite books | I could never begin to list all my favorite books, but will capture a few. Cathedral of the Sea, by Ildefonso Falcones, set in 14th century Barcelona, Showcases Arnau, a pillar of Human Character. This book captures everything I love about reading. I laughed, wept, and rejoiced. Author is from Spain, and won awards as best foreign author in 2007. |
