| Favorite books | Books I have wept over upon finishing: Don Quixote, Paradise Lost, Joyce’s Ulysses -last pages); Mark Twain’s Autobiography. I have 100’s in my top ten favorite list, from James Herriot, Don Delillo, Shakespeare’s Sonnets, the Bronte’s (Wuthering Heights, Emily’s poetry), Lawrence Block, Kafka’s exquisite, gentle voice, Borges intellect, Oliver Sacks, Harold Bloom, Michael Connelly, Jhumpa Lahiri, E.M.Forster, V.S.Pritchett and many others. |
