| Introduction | So many of my childhood hours were spent happily sitting at my mother's feet while she sewed. Collecting pins with the big magnet, playing with scraps of material, sorting buttons, it all led to my love of textiles. After years of struggling to find my 'creative side' through painting, drawing and other arts I finally realised I need fabric and fibres. With felt or wool or fabric in my hands I am never happier. Juggling this with mothering two beautiful, boisterous, bouncy boys - the Pickles - makes for a wonderful and blessed existence. |
