Introduction	I suppose I’m fortunate as an artist because there’s a degree of innocence that I’ve kept since a child. A naiveté nature that I can blame for my romantic view of life even in the face of disappointment. I have these idealistic solutions for my realistic problems. Sure, that innocence has been victimized by my adulthood but the hope is in the dreams. The dreams are in the lyrics. Rhymes that I’ve dreamt up, I’ve built songs around. Daydreaming used to get me kicked out of class so to think that dreaming could pay my bills is kind of galling. I write most of my songs in that same cheeky manner. Drugs + Candy spits on the ridicule and rocks out. There’s a cause in the rebellion. Revelry! Love, Lust and The American Way.
