Introduction I was a Navigator in the 39th ATS, DAFB, 1962-1965,with about 2000 C-133 hours. Leaving active duty in Aug '65 I went directly to the University of Maryland and in 1969 earned a Ph.D. Sue, the kids, and I then went to Heidelberg, Germany for a year with the University of Md as Comptroller, European Division. In 1970 we relocated to Swarthmore, PA until I retired in 1992 to our Summer home in Bethany Beach. While in Swarthmore I was a Vice-President at a couple of local Colleges and after tiring of that, I had a small Mergers and Acquisition company and dabbled in Commercial Real Estate sales and development. I did teach Economics, Finance, and Statistics serving as an adjunct Associate Professor in an MBA program in Delaware after retirement. I began my career teaching and ended it teaching and it was always a most enjoyable endeavor. I did retain my military connections by joining the MDANG, 135th Air Commando Squadron operating out of Martin Field while in graduate school. Then I took an Individual Readiness slot in the Auditor General's Office and Comptroller General's Office with additional duties as an USAF Academy Liaison Officer retiring as an O5 in 1988.
Interests American History, reading, golf, gardening, salt water fly fishing, writing reviews for the C-133 site, wood working to include furniture and framing of art
