| Introduction | born in bakersfield, ca. to max and frances martin. youngest of 3 girls. dad was a carpenter, mother managed a motel. dad was a country western singer in the midwest.he was also an alcoholic most of my life. mother took me to church from a young age and i saw lots of things that cemented my faith for life. it seems i was aware of Jesus always. didn't really serve the Lord in high school but at 24yrs old i rededicated my life to Him and have walked with Him most of that time till now.He is my Savior and I know Him. Major events in my life has shaped who I am. The death of my husband in 1986 in a motorcycle accident while i was pregnant with #6..71/2mo. and the struggles of my marriage the last 21/2yrs. The reality of life and the pain it can bring hit me hard. i wanted to give up many times and Jesus seemed to always show up at the moment of complete despair. He gave me Hope.i have become aware of the hardships in marriages and life that have driven people to a place of unbelief and i really want to encourage them by my blog.. |
