| Introduction | Im a Palestinian Filmmaker, I was raised in Rafah city, Gaza Strip. Directed full-length film, “Where Should the Birds Fly?” www.whereshouldthebirdsfly.com. The film is being screened in the USA in 2013. I have been working on news stories and documentaries in the Gaza Strip since 2006, written articles for the U.K. Observer and Guardian newspapers and The International Herald Tribune, worked as a translator/local producer for foreign journalists from U.K. Channel 4, Malaysian TV channel N7, La Press newspaper in Montreal, Al Jazeera English and other media outlets, worked as a project coordinator for different NGO's in Gaza Strip, founded The Life-Maker's Center, Rafah, Gaza. Managed, taught in free facility for 300 children who have been affected by conflict. The center provides a safe place to play, learn and offers counseling. |
