| Introduction | I am not an Access Guru and is not yet through learning MS-Access. We can learn lot more tricks from others if they care to share their knowledge too. I started using Microsoft Access Ver-2 in 1996 under Windows 95, when DOS-based dBase IV, Foxbase, Foxpro were popular Database Systems. Worked as a DBMS Developer in the Internal-Audit Department of Saud Bahwan Automotive LLC, Sultanate of Oman, a reputed Automotive Sales and Services Company, from 1996 to 2010 and retired as Deputy Manager–Audit. Developed more than 45 In-house Apps for Audit Dept. for faster execution of Pre- Audit functions: Yearly Budget allocations, P and L Analysis, Vehicle, Parts, Service Sales, Order Receiving, Payments, Credit Sales Monitoring, Credit Request Processing, Branch Visit Scheduling are some of them. I have Studied MS-DOS-based Apps dBase-IV, FoxBase, Foxpro, Lotus1-2-3, WordStar from 1991 to 1996. I have worked as a Section Supervisor, Computer Operator (NCR Century-101, VRX8555 Mainframe) from 1977 to 1990 with Y.B.A. Kanoo, Saudi Arabia. Worked as Data Entry Operator in EDP Dept., learned COBOL Programming in ICL1901 Main Frame at Naval Dockyard, Bombay during 1974-77. |
