| Introduction | I am a mom, I do everything for my kids. I love them dearly. My husband and I are good people. We tried for over a year to have Emma. Now I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason, that is why we were given Emma, but knowing that doesn't always keep me from being sad. My son said it best. When Emma was born she was hooked up to a lot of machines and he could only look at her through a window in the NICU. He said 'mommy, do you know why the parrot gave Emma to you?' the parrot?--he ment the stork. 'yes, Connor,' he says, 'mommy the parrot gave you Emma because he knew you were the only mommy in the world that could take care of her.' I kissed him, promised him a trip to Toys 'r Us, and cried, as usual. From the mouth of babes comes the truth. I needed to write about my life and experiences, to give back and to help other moms, and to cope with life, not just when we have a crisis, but everyday real life. i have alway had a passion for creating things. i love shabby chic things. that's where www.missemmascloset.etsy.com was born. the official premiere is april 1. but it is and running now. check it out! |
