| Introduction | Being much more "age enhanced" than any of the rest of you classmates, my story could drag on for forty-something years. So, just the basics... I was born and raised in St George. I love it here and couldn't be blown out with dynamite. College was first on my list when I graduated from Dixie High (the only high school in the area back then). However, I was married in '83 and started a family. We moved to Washington, UT in '84. I had 5 fabulous kids, three boys and then 2 girls. Things with my spouse weren't the "happily ever after" I'd been promised. Inevitably, I was divorced and soon met and married Prince Charming (he goes by Lee) in '96. Yep, I've got the world's most perfect husband. He married me and took on 5 additional children besides the 5 he'd already raised. I've taken college classes off and on ever since. I work as a HeadStart teacher and love the rewards of working with children. The challenges are not few, however, as children now days face trials previously unfathomed. I love the excitement of learning new things and incorporting them into my life. |
