| Introduction | I grew up in the bluff country of southeastern Minnesota and I love all things outdoors: birds, wildflowers, trees, hiking, and camping. I also grew up with a love for reading and books. In college, I met and married my husband, Doug. After graduation we moved to Mexico, living in the high desert plains of San Luis Potosi, where our two children were born. We returned to the States 15 years later and still retain our love for the people, food, and culture, as well as the Spanish language. We make our home in the southern suburbs of Minneapolis, MN, but my heart still longs for the desert and mountains. |
