IntroductionAfter my 11 years employment with the State of NJ (most of that was a lot of shuckin and jivin to keep my credibility) in the long run, I believe I have prevailed. My dysfunctional family prepared me well. Now retired for almost eight years, I sit home with my dogs and cats in the garden, listening to songbirds and the breeze flirting with wind chimes, forcing myself to not eat donuts and ice cream all day. I started juicing until I came across a second hand Vitamix, now I blend, but I still juice. I'm researching all types of whole food blends, especially those fashionable green ones. I also drink bentonite clay in pure spring water, good for the constitution. These days are so confusing and ambivalent...sometimes I wish I don't wake up in the morning and sometimes I jump right up and go carpe diem. When I was a young girl, I never believed I would lose my optimism or my vigor...well, there's still time...
