Introduction	I am a married, childfree 30-something nonprofit slave living in Brooklyn NY. I became obsessed with money after finishing my MFA with $49k in student loan debt and moving to the most expensive city in the U.S. I write about my frustrations with trying to earn a living in NYC (the city where you'll never get ahead) and my often thwarted attempts to build a financial future. I'm counting down the days until I'm vested in my employer's pension plan and can escape Brooklyn for the cheaper, kinder pastures of Minneapolis.
