Introduction | A self-professed Geek with studies ranging from anthropology, myth, and folklore, to Anglo-Saxon, Arthurian, and Medieval literature, to Abrahamic and Pagan theology, to vampyres, faeries, monsters, and much in-between. I first experienced the realm of faerie after a quest to the N.Y. Public Library, at the age of five, where I discovered a recording of Professor Tolkien reading “Riddles in the Dark” from The Hobbit. I'm the editor, along with colleagues Anthony Burdge and Kristine Larsen, of _The Mythological Dimensions_ series from Kistune press. Vol. 1, _The Mythological Dimensions of Doctor Who_ was published in May 2010. Vol. 2, _The Mythological Dimensions of Neil Gaiman_ is set for 2012. I’m an avid artist & use a variety of media from paint to beadwork to woodworking. Info on my forthcoming projects & all sorts of neat stuff like _The Mythological Dimensions_ series can be found on “Comfy Chair: New York’s Doctor Who Fanzine” (http://comfychairzine.blogspot.com/), at http://herenistarionnets.blogspot.com/ the official blog for Heren Istarion: The Northeast Tolkien Society, and at “Green and Growing” (http://www.green-and-growing.com/). |
