Introduction I teach fourth grade in Cobb County, Georgia, and have worked in education for over 20 years. Currently I'm working on a doctoral degree in Teaching and Learning. I earned my Gifted Endorsement in 2009 and achieved National Board Certification in 2007. I am passionate about teaching and try to create a responsive classroom through reflection, both student and teacher. My current focus is to increase the use of differentiation and project based learning in my classroom. I am happily married to Hans and we're the parents of two children, 20 and 17 . In my free time, I play tennis, run, and read. I also enjoy cooking and gardening.
