Introduction	having become interested in amateur microbiology and mycology in the 1990's i began to use different microbial brews in my garden, for organic food growing. Later i began testing variations on these brews in bioremediation projects, for sustainably reducing soil borne pollutants in contaminated land. This blog (i hope) will build on these areas of interest and catalogue a variety of positive microbe related news stories i've noted over the years, to show that bacteria, fungi and other microbes aren't all about disease and pathogens - there are a whole host of beneficial perspectives to examine. (and it's not all muck and magic either). hope you find it as fascinating subject as i do - ok so i'm a geek at heart ;)
