| Introduction | This space I create is a conversation. Please join in! Writing is a conversation with the world. In 2010, I graduated from Goddard College in Plainfield, Vermont with an MFA in Creative Writing after teaching writing for many years. I am deeply indebted to the souls around whom I had the pleasure of co-existing at Goddard in language and word-play. In other parts of my life, I've been an elementary, middle, and high school teacher and have taught writing at a community college. I also teach new public school teachers about the art and science of teaching writing (which I wholeheartedly believe can be taught.) I practice meditation and teach yoga and it teaches me. I believe in the tapestry of things, and I craft my life from threads I receive each day that hang from branches as songs and words and sometimes take to the air as butterflies. |
