| Introduction | It has been over 20 years since I have had a practice that includes creativity that is not generated for someone else's benefit. What I mean by that is, I have spent the last 20 years using my creativity to do things like make pancakes into interesting shapes for toddlers, create a new behavior modification system (at least once every six months for nearly 20 years), think of consequences that meet the action, manipulate little people in a way that averts a public scene, prevent teenagers from doing permanent or mortal harm to themselves, convince employers to hire me, reinvent myself after industry crashed, provide new interesting approaches to attempt to keep sex interesting, survive divorce, survive rejection by various children, plan wedding, design plans for creating a family from a new marriage, imagine peace, create drama, reduce drama, and welcome various stages of uninvited grace. All of the above repeated at various times and not in that order. None of the above was generated for intrinsic creative enjoyment. As a result, I have forgotten how to create and further, forgotten who I am. This blog represents my attempt to find myself, to learn myself in the now. |
| Interests | Developing. I have taken up knitting, a blog, and Thai massage. I am looking for ways to abandon distractions and welcome interests that are fulfilling. I am not very good at abandoning distractions-the worst of which is common to us all, electronic media. |
