| Introduction | I am a woman, a mother, a wife and much more, but most importantly, I am a child of God. God has promised to take care of his children and He cannot break His promise. He is faithful. When we place our trust in Him and completely surrender, our lives will never be the same. We will still suffer and go through trials, we will still fall, but the underlying peace that only God can give, will be the pillar of strength that allows us to get up again, and continue on in this journey we call life. In the end, the reward of faithfulness and trust will immensely outweigh the pain of any struggles we have gone through, and eternity with our heavenly Father will be our most glorious reward. I look forward with great anticipation to that day. Until then though, I must trust that God has a very special will for my life, as He does for each of His children. As His children we must seek His face, envelope our lives in His mercy and do our best to do whatever He asks us to do. In the words of Blessed Mother Theresa of Calcutta, "God does not ask us to be successful, He asks us to be faithful." May God's grace enable you to trust in His holy will, today and forever. |
