| Introduction | I am an anthropology student turning to archaeology in order to explore the origins of agriculture. Why and when did domestication of plants occur in the archeological record? But more specifically - what cultural changes occurred along with the transition to domestication? Are there any cultural changes that pre-date the beginnings of agriculture? Was a change in culture necessary to a change in subsistence patterns? |
