Introduction	Originally from Revelstoke, British Columbia, I moved to Toronto in 1988 to pursue a career in information technology. I have resided in the now trendy Leslieville neighbourhood of Toronto since 2002. A mostly self-taught artist, I began working with oil and acrylic on canvas as a hobby in 1992. In 2009, I began studying encaustic painting under Heather Anne Gentlemen of the HAG Atelier in the Distillery District in Toronto.
