| Introduction | I have been an advocate of inclusive education for students with disabilities since starting the graduate program at California State University -- Northridge in 2001. Over the course of my career I've had the opportunity to work as a tutor, personal assistant, paraeducator, job coach, special education teacher, education/behavior consultant, and university partnership teacher. I recently completed my dotoral degree in educational leadership from the University of North Carolina - Wilmington. My research interests include promoting positive attitudes towards individuals with disabilities, inclusive pre-service/teacher preparation, and inclusive school leadership. I am currently an assistant principal for New Hanover County Schools in Wilmington, North Carolina. |
