Introduction	Welcome to Travel By Plate. This is my journey around the world, one dish at a time. A word about my cooking style and food: The food I make on a regular basis is more home style cooking- whether that is an American home, a Chinese home or French home, it's all very approachable and relatively easy. The flavors I tend to like in food are fairly bold. I want all conversation to stop at the table when a bite of food is taken. If I can talk through the meal without notice of what's being consumed, it's not my preference. I want my food to reach up, slap me in the mouth and scream, "Pay Attention!!" Hope you enjoy the food, and the chatter.
