| Introduction | Well, if you know me, you know I can't be defined by a short paragraph, but for shits and giggles, I'll try... I am a single mother of a beautiful ginger boy. He is my heart and my soul, plain and simple. Before he was brought into this world, you could have considered me a hippie. I didn't live by anyone's standards but my own, and I was very much a wanderer. At that point in time, I was extremely happy with myself. The last year and a half before Jude, I was the happiest I had been. I had finally reached a point where I didn't feel so... lost. Through this new journey of being a mother, I realized, I never truly knew myself before. I have not quite found the me I want to be, but I am striving for it every second of the day :) |
| Interests | I loooovvveee to read :) I just recently decided I would like to volunteer more. I'm pretty sure I could be a bum, because I LOVE the outdoors. However, I like to be clean. Hmm... I would be a clean bum. Spending time with my family is definitely at the top of my list. I adore going to church, and I wish they had a service every day! |
| Favorite movies | Almost Famous is my ALL-TIME favorite movie. I ADORE Kate Hudson. She is the gorgeous I would like to be. Anchorman. -- Will Ferrell is the bees knees. Like, seriously. Slumdog Millionaire. -- Yes, please. It's only the Romeo and Juliet of our time. Kinda. Okay, maybe not. But it ROCKS. Across the Universe -- To put it simply, the music is to die for. I love the Beatles. And I'm pretty sure they love me. |
| Favorite books | Single Mothers Raising Sons is seriously an ah-mazing book for any single mom of boys. I don't want to ruin it for you, so go buy it. Like, yesterday. What to Say When You Talk to Yourself is an inspiring self help book about the reasons one has negative thoughts and how to turn them into positive ones. A Million Little Pieces is a pretty inspiring fiction with a mind blowing story of a man who is a recovering drug addict. Of course, the Bible. If you don't own one, go get one. |
