Introduction	First, I will always be a Proud Aspie Mom. My son Josh has Asperger's Syndrome (a form of high functioning autism). It always amazes me how he sees the world. I have had many people ask me if I write down everything he says. He is wise beyond his years and when he "tells it like it is" he always seems to make sense. I am in awe of his simple yet brilliant outlook on life. I've decided to start keeping a weekly Journal on his little words of wisdom, which I can share with all of you. My hope is that through this blog others will also get a better understanding of what it is like for those living on the high functioning end of the autism spectrum, and to remind others to never get discouraged...there's always another proud moment waiting right around the corner!
