Introduction 4 years ago, I lost over 100lbs. I had carried that extra weight around for 6 yrs. One day being the hypercondriac that I am, I thought I was suffering from high blood pressure and was scarily close to a heart-attack or stroke so, I scheduled an appointment to see my doctor. I promised myself that if my blood pressure was high I was going to start my diet, ASAP! Fortunately for me, I only had a sinus infection but, kept my promise anyway. I joined Weight Watchers in January 2008, then in March 2008, decided for the first time in my life to commit to exercising. I started off walking every day for about an hour during my lunch break. Before I knew it, I was training for my first half-marathon which I ran (with 2 injuries) in March 2010! Unfortunately since then, I've put about 20lbs of the weight back on. Join me as I share the good, the bad and the ugly while training for my next half marathon and shedding my after, after weight. Disclaimer: I am not a doctor or a weight loss expert. Your people want to make a statue in your honor. What will it be made out of and what victory will it commemorate?

It would be made out of my favorite food...bacon and, it will commemorate the fact that I was able to lose 100lbs after eating 100bls of bacon a week! o_O
