| Introduction | I was seeing a therapist sometime between May 2005 and December 2007. During that time, I was struggling at my job. Specifically, because of one person. My therapist suggested that I write a letter to this person and say whatever was on my mind. I was not exactly thrilled at the idea. It felt like a homework assignment and I did not see the benefit especially if I was not going to share the letter. That letter changed my life. It gave me the outlet I needed to clear my head. All of these years later, I still write for that purpose. |
