| Introduction | Funny. When you are about to describe yourself, what do you choose to lead with? I'm a girl. I'm learning that some days, that's good enough. I love God very much. Not because someone told me to, because He's made me something better than I am (it's an ongoing process). Because He brought me Jeremy when I deserved Dwight. He breathed life into my girls - more than once and made them purposeful, beautiful toddlers when all I could do was cry and pray. Because He loves me when I'm lovely and when I'm not. We're church planters now. It's a road we've been pining for for years; but of all the things I do, I still love that being just a girl is good enough. That's all I need to be to tell someone else about Jesus and let them believe He loves them enough already to give them their Knight and their dreams and their "lovely". My family is my rock and my hard place. My friends are...not all in Vegas and Africa anymore...yeah for me. They are like venti Americanos for my soul. I'm 80% coffee, 20% M&M's - my daughter's new calm-me-down drug. Thank God for teeth! My most missed moments...listening to my husband at The Fix. |
