Introduction	I am multi-passioned person but two of my most consistent loves are smiles and smarts. I am a teacher at heart but I do work in the dental field. I've tutored for several years and did so professionally and as a volunteer. I enjoy working with students and find that many of them are much smarter than they realize. No child should ever feel as if he or she isn't smart enough. Tutoring has given me the opportunity to watch a student grow not only in knowledge, but in self-esteem. That is my reward. I've also enjoyed the opportunity to market (another passion) my tutoring service throughout the community and I am satisfied with my entrepreneurship. Now, in the dental setting, I also feel very much at home. It requires that I be continually educated on the newest techniques and findings in oral science and also that I have an ongoing educational relationship with my patients so they can maintain their health. I can never have a bad day if I can bring a smile to my patient's face.
