Introduction	It all began towards the end of July 2009. I was attending Mount Saint Mary's College accelerated bachelor's of nursing program. We were deep into our clinical rotation at UCLA and it had been a grueling semester. I developed some pain under my ribs on the right side when I took a breathe in. After ruling out a gallbladder attack and enduring many imaging tests and a liver biopsy, the doctors concluded I had neuroendocrine carcinoma of the liver. After a colonoscopy they found a neuroendocrine tumor a little larger than a grape in my colon that had developed from a polyp. This is my story and my new journey.
