Introduction	This blog documents the experience of student volunteers who are pre-service ESL teachers at University of Malaya, Malaysia, as they are involved in a 6 week volunteer programme to teach English Language to Palestinians. Their challenges and discoveries would assist others to understand better the complexities of teaching those afflicted by wars in the Middle East as well as instructional approaches explored to meet the needs of these war victims.
