Introduction	At the age of 33, on November 4th, 2011, I tragically lost a significant part of me, mi media naranja, Alfonso (32 years old). We were together for nearly 7 years, and we share a transcendent love that neither of us had ever experienced before. I'm searching for a purpose in life and a reason to wake up every morning, because frankly, there are days that it barely feels worth it to keep going. But I know that I must. And I figured that by creating an online journal, not only could I express myself to help release some of this grief and begin to heal, but most of all, I hope that I can help others. If I can help someone else get through their grief and help them heal, I now have a purpose and a reason to keep going. The words that I write will be raw and uncensored coming straight from my heart.
