| Introduction | I was quite fortunate in the earlier part of my life and started working since the age of 16 in theatre in Lisbon Portugal. During this time I worked with some of the most inspiring actors from that country. Then in 1996, I relocated to the UK, where I had lived during part of my childhood. In 1999 I founded the Blue Elephant Theatre formerly a derelict building. As artistic director, during a seven-year tenure, I promoted new writing by international playwrights. In 2004 I wanted to venture into other creative arenas and studied film at the London Film Academy, specialising in directing and cinematography. Since then I have been involved with an array of projects ranging from fiction, music videos and documentaries for a number of productions companies and television networks. As a writer, I have written a number of plays and screenplays. |
