Introduction	Much has changed since this blog began so many years ago! Our family now feels more complete with 3 wonderful boys and our daughter brought home from Ethiopia in February 2009. We've also gone through some heartbreak as a family and are more humble and broken, which is a good thing! And, we are in a season of Spring where God is doing big things, including the beginning of a non-profit entitled "Awake and Alive" created to share God's heart for the poor and to help Africans thrive both here and abroad. The dance has been quite a beautiful, tragic one, but one that I have no doubt has been designed by the Master Choreographer! I am so thankful.

Favorite books	Irresistible Revolution, Forgotten God, Blue Like Jazz, You are God's Plan A, Piercing the Darkness, Too Small to Ignore, Small Great Things, most books by Brock and Bodie Thoene and Francine Rivers ...I'm a historical fiction freak!
