| Introduction | Born in Brazil, raised in Portugal until 19 years old when I moved to London where I have lived for eight years. In the first four years in London I was highly involved with music production whilst working as a Sound Engineer at Nostairway Music studio. From about 2005 I started to develop an interest in avant-garde music, which led me to other routes related to sound. Since 2006 I have also been an active Sound Artist, working on a variety of collaborative and individual projects that fall within the areas of phonography, installation and audio-visual work. My main interest lies in exploring the eclectic characteristics of sound and its psychological, social and cultural effect. In 2007 my path took a little turn in, which I went down the route of Sound Design for theater. Since than, I have worked on the Sound Design for four successful theatre plays with Palladini Productions, whilst always involved with Sound Art and Engineering. During my time in London I have acquired several diplomas in Music Technology, a Bachelors in Sound Arts and Design and this year will be doing a Master Degree in Audio Acoustics and wish to pursue a career in Acoustic Design. |
