Introduction	My husband and I live in the great northern woods of the Upper Penninsula of Michigan. We have been talking about adoption for several years, and had decided to adopt a baby boy from Vietnam. We kinda "fell into" foster care and had to give up our Vietnam adoption dream. I gave birth to a baby girl in Febuary and we are soo in love with her...and are hoping to bring home a brother or sister for her through adoption someday!
Interests	reading,writing, adoption,spending time with my husband, our two great dogs, and of course our families and friends.
Favorite movies	To Kill a Mockingbird, Shadowlands,Harry Potter(all of them!), Oh Brother Where Art Thou?,Boystown, and anything with John Wayne and/or Maureen O'Hara
Favorite music	Kenny Rogers,John Mayer,Michael Buble,The Browns, class country, easy listening, just about a little bit of everything but rap!
Favorite books	mostly biographies and memoirs, as well as anything by Melinda Hayes, Pat Conroy,The Harry Potter Series, Faye Kellerman, Patricia Conwell, texts on ethics and systematic theology

Which do you prefer and why: whittling with soap or whistling with wood?

Haven't done either; fairly certain I would do neither well. whistling with wood sounds less dangerous...so let's go for that one!
