| Introduction | Captain Ruter's ship ran ashore in Texas in 1840. The winds carried his ship so fast, that he was clear through to Georgetown before settling to a stop. There he found himself making his home as a mascot for Southwestern University. "I stand a wee 10 cm with me hat and boots on, but me 7 cm sword fer werk 'o the day be a makin' me taller. I'm a bit nervous o' big things (ye can imagine!), but I'm a curious lad, eh am. Adventure's me middle name!" |
