| Introduction | I am 31 years old.My wife of almost 4 years,left today for basic training with the US Army.She is 30 and had our son 9 months ago.We also have custody of my 9y/o son.She will be gone for what seems to be 6 mos,and I want to use this blog to hopefully help me get through these months,both from a motivational standpoint and an accountability standpoint.I know I have a story that God wants told.My life has been full of too many moments that can only be described as modern day miracles.And I am living one now.If I don't share what God has done and is doing in my life I may miss the boat. I remind myself of some dude Jesus had with Him the night He was taken to jail.Not that I am going to cut any ears off,but I am kinda like that guy. I question my salvation regularly and can only hope God sees my heart of hearts cuz MAN AM I A SINNER.Not that I want to be,but some things are hard to shake and others harder to see. I am looking forward to this journey God has me on with the boys and the roller coaster of a life.I am just glad that win lose or draw, I have a God I can turn to. |
